The tough-tackling Cuban offers strength, as well as style on the ball, making him an ideal fit for Arsene Wenger’s men.
Matt Hedges
Though the likes of Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi are top class defenders, the options outside of the pair for Arsene Wenger don’t offer much in the way of hope. Calum Chambers may be relegated on loan with Middlesbrough, while Per Mertesacker seemingly always struggles with injury.
With that in mind, FC Dallas’ Matt Hedges, who has proved imperious in marshalling the backline of late, would be a good option to target.
Keegan Rosenberry
With doubts surrounding the future of Hector Bellerin at the Emirates, Arsenal may soon be forced to look abroad for a new right-back in the not so distant future.
Though the searing Spaniard will be very difficult to replace indeed, Philadelphia Union defender Keegan Rosenberry may be a slightly left-field option at right-back, though it’s a difficult position to buy quality in.
Unlucky not to win the Rookie of the Year Award in his breakthrough campaign, the American is certainly making a name for himself.
Andre Blake
The future of backup goalkeeper David Ospina is up in the air, considering his standing behind Petr Cech, so Wenger may soon be forced to look for an alternative for the Colombian.
While Jamaican star and Philadelphia Union stopper Andre Blake probably isn’t good enough to replace Cech, he could be a good understudy, should Ospina go.
Sebastian Giovinco
Many thought former Italy international Sebastian Giovinco was throwing away his top level career when he moved to Toronto FC from Juventus, though has become perhaps the best player to ever play across the pond.
